Meet Your Beekeeper with Bev Stevens

Are you interested in beekeeping but not quite sure what it involves?
Here is your chance to learn what it’s all about and how
honey bees are cared for! Beekeeper, Bev Stevens, of Old Glory
Bees and Honey will show you the tools of the trade and
explain how they all work. You’ll see bees up close in a non-contact
environment with an observation hive, learn how to get started in beekeeping, and get a glimpse into
the reason honey bees are so important to our natural world.
This will be an informmeet-and-greet in the Garden where Bev will explain
all the ups and downs of seasonal beekeeping in Maine– so come with your beekeeping questions ready!
