Hours and admission

Hours: The Garden grounds are open to visitors each day from dawn until dusk, Mother’s Day weekend until November 1st.

Please note that the Garden Gift Shop will be closed from November 2nd – November 28th but will re-open for the holidays from November 29th – December 21st. The Gift Shop will be open Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
 

Admission: Visiting us is always free, although a $10 donation is suggested.

Getting to the garden

From Augusta: Take I-95 S toward Portland. Go for 34.4 mi. Take exit 75 toward New Gloucester/ME-4 S/ME-100 S onto US-202 W (Washington St). Go for 1.5 mi. Turn right onto Poland Spring Rd (ME-122). Go for 0.8 mi. Turn left onto Hotel Rd (ME-122) toward Poland. Go for 0.7 mi. Continue on Ricker Rd (ME-122). Go for 1.1 mi. Continue on Spring Water Rd (ME-122). Go for 2.4 mi. Turn sharp right onto Maine St (ME-26) toward Poland Ctr./Oxford. Go for 16.8 mi. Turn right onto Paris St (ME-26/ME-117). Go for 1.1 mi. (Time–1.25 hour)

From Portland: Take the Maine Turnpike North/Lewiston/Augusta onto I-95 N (Gold Star Memorial Hwy). Take exit 63 toward US-202/ME-115/ME-4/ME-26A/Gray/New Gloucester. Go for 0.3 mi. Turn left onto W Gray Rd (US-202) toward ME-26A/South Paris/Bethel. Go for 0.2 mi. Turn right onto Maine Wildlife Park Way (ME-26A). Go for 1.2 mi. Continue on Shaker Rd (ME-26). Go for 0.3 mi. Continue on Shaker Rd (ME-26). Go for 24.9 mi. Turn right onto Paris St (ME-26/ME-117). Go for 1.1 mi. (Time–1 hour)

From Lewiston/Auburn: From Court Street in Auburn, take Minot Ave (ME-11/ME-121) west for 3.4 mi. Turn right onto Woodman Hill Rd (ME-119). Go for 5.4 mi. Continue on ME-119 through West Minot and Hebron. In South Paris ME-119 becomes ME-117. As you enter town, turn left on Market Sq. (ME-117). Go for just under .5 mi.

 

Tours and Group Visits

Private tours, led by our horticulturist, are available for a fee of $10.00 per person with a $50.00 minimum. Tours should be arranged at least one week in advance.

Arrangements can be made for groups to gather in the barn before and after a tour for BYO refreshments. Please contact us for more details.
