Paris, Maine:  Go big or “gourd” home. More than 300 carved pumpkins are set to be on display at the 12th annual Jack-O’-Lantern Spectacular in South Paris.  The Jack-O’-Lantern Spectacular is being held at the McLaughlin Garden on Thursday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Paris, Maine:  McLaughlin Garden horticulturist Corey Kotfila joins Mark and Pam to talk about the variety of fun and educational events at the South Paris-based Garden, which is home to one of the largest collections of lilacs in New England. He also shares details about the prehistoric themed Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular happening Thursday through Saturday (Oct. 16-18)!

Maine's WGME visits McLaughlin Garden - Lilac Care

PARIS, Maine — The blooming of lilacs is always a sign that summer is right around the corner. At the McLaughlin Garden in South Paris, they are the star of the show during their annual Lilac Festival, which features more than 200 lilac trees consisting of more than 125 different varieties. The property is listed as a Cultural Landscape on the National Register of Historic Places.
