Winter Lecture Series #1: My Ecological Garden-Design Adventures

We can’t make spring come any faster, but we CAN provide some quality programming to hold you over until then! Join us in-person or by Zoom for a month of gardening-themed presentations that are sure to take the chill out of your week. Lectures will be held at the homestead each Wednesday in the month of March; we will serve tea and snacks at 3:30PM before the presentation at 4PM. Winter Lecture Series #1: My Ecological Garden-Design Adventures w/ Rebecca Long

Rebecca Long is the Coordinator of Horticulture Training Programs for the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. She collaborates with experts from the University of Maine and beyond to create educational programs for gardeners and the horticulture industry.

Learn about a building a pollinator friendly, climate resilient, beautiful, and functional garden through the lens of Rebecca’s adventures in creating her own garden. Rebecca will cover elements of ecological garden design, creation, and maintenance and tell you about her own successes and failures.
