That’s Just the way it Sows: Winter Sowing Native Seeds
November 8, 2024 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Winter may not be the first season that comes to mind when we think of seed sowing, but the chillier months are the perfect time to start many native plants from seed! Get ahead on your spring gardening plans with this hands-on workshop presented by UMaine Cooperative Extension and McLaughlin Garden. Participants will learn the basics of successful native seed starting and then get their hands dirty sowing their own seeds to take home.
Tickets are $25 per person and spots in the workshop are limited. Please call the McLaughlin Garden at (207) 743-8820 to reserve your spot. Contact us for financial assistance options if the workshop fee is a barrier to you.
