Meteorologist Sarah Long

Sarah Long is a native New Englander who has been forecasting in northern New England for over two decades.  She earned a BS in Meteorology at UMass Lowell, and has spent time at the FAA, research facilities, and the Mt Washington Observatory, where she experienced some of the most exciting weather in the world.

Join us on June 22nd when Sarah will broadcast the weather at 4:00 PM in the Garden.  She will then speak on her experiences living and working on the highest point in Eastern North America, as well as her trip to Antarctica where temperatures are climbing at five times the global average.  There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the discussion.
