The McLaughlin Garden is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, public garden nestled in the Western Foothills of Maine. As a designated cultural landscape, we strive to preserve the historic 19th-century gardens and homestead of Bernard McLaughlin while simultaneously promoting ecologically-minded gardening for the 21st-century. As a place for gathering, we offer accessible programming and family-friendly events in an effort to strengthen our local community. We are currently hiring a part-time, Seasonal Garden Assistant for the 2025 Season. This is a short-term position open to students.
